Now lets move to the vocab I've met!

hello! hope some of the words will be helpful

Fortnight a period of two weeks.

Grasp seize and hold firmly.

to live from hand to mouth  the situation when one is nearly starving(which is unfortunaly common for the homeless)

bile a bitter greenish-brown alkaline fluid that aids digestion and is secreted by the liver and stored in the gallbladder.

guzzle down eat or drink (something) greedily.

haul (of a person) pull or drag with effort or force.

at a rate of knots  like a bat out of hell, like a lamplighter(very fast)

overwhelmbury or drown beneath a huge mass.(overwhelmed (person)- upset)

concave having an outline or surface that curves inward like the interior of a circle or sphere.
fiery temper- bad temper

geezer-  an odd old man.

misdemeanour - a minor wrongdoing.

delugea severe flood.

busker - a street musician
