almost nothing..
and these are some reasons:
1) what if Bob's owners came to pick him up in a month after you took him?would you just give him back? Would you reproach them in carelessness or absentmindnness?
2) what if Bob was completely lost after the situation in the metro(he was frietened and run away)? How would you try to find him? Posters? Police?
first - as it's all truth there can't be any logical mistakes or gaps vice versa many moments and adjectives repeated too many times. But its not a reason to blame the author. For me it's a question of experience and the manners in our "fast moving" life.
second - I'd ask some questions of probable decisions:
3) What if Bob can speak what would you ask him?
What's his life story? Why did he choose you? Did he understand how he saved your life?
4) Have you ever been jelouse because of attention Bob gets easily unlike you?
OMG.. I see how cruel my questions are but with all my respect to the author I'd really ask them..
my own answers:
1)I would never give him back cause they didn't even care about the chip I gave him and of course about his health and the state he has been in when I found Bob on the stairs fly.
2) I would go to the reporters made them to do an announcement and found him with people's help.and posters are very helpful, in my opinion.
3)What's his life story? Why did he choose you? Did he understand how he saved your life? all that!!There are no doubts.. we would sit on the sofa discussin it as real old spots.
